Workspace actions

These actions are wired to the actual editor state. Reset restores the working configuration; Randomize changes the live scene; presets save/load complete configurations.

Path mode makes supported glyphs independent of the viewer's installed fonts. Browser-font mode is used automatically for uploaded fonts and characters the path registry does not contain.

03 · Fonts

Vibe Font packs can be loaded locally and used as path-based glyphs in this studio.

Drop a font or an archiveWOFF, WOFF2, TTF, OTF, ZIP, TAR, TAR.GZ and TGZ are accepted.

Import a Vibe Font Pack

Load a .vfont.json made by Font Maker. The glyph paths are stored locally in this browser.

Import font from an online URL

Paste a direct font URL. The remote host must allow CORS. This cannot be bypassed safely from browser JavaScript.

04 · Animation

Brute-force mode works per character: each letter cycles through candidate glyphs until that character locks, then the next character starts. It does not try to guess the whole word as one block.

Plain Print Lab — clean typing + cursor

Clean Typing reveals the text normally and keeps the cursor. Optional motion can be applied to each character or to the whole canvas after the typing settles. Typing loop and effect loop are independent.

Settle overshoot

The animation timeline treats the animation as phases. The recipe controls how reveal, instability, settling and ending behavior are layered over the typography timing.

Frame & presentation

Frame styleFrame strength

Frames are part of the exported SVG. Frame strength controls physical framing only; the frame is composited behind typography so text stays readable. Start around 0.35 for a balanced result.

Custom emoji upload

Upload PNG, WebP or SVG. It is kept in this browser session and can be inserted into the text with a placeholder token.

09 · Motion lab — keyframes & layers

Keyframes are small timed instructions layered on top of the typing engine. They are deliberately simple: pick a time, choose a motion, and set its amount.

Live keyframe status

Add a keyframe; it will be written into the actual SVG scene and exported.

Effect layer stack

Effects are kept as named layers so the order is understandable and shareable. Move a layer up or down to change the composition order.

10 · SVG asset / template import

Upload an SVG you already made: a frame, logo, letter, badge, border, mascot, or reusable template. The file stays in this browser session.

How to use the uploaded SVG

Overlay/background/frame: the SVG is placed as a reusable visual layer. Letter: put :svg: in your text and the studio replaces that token with the uploaded artwork. This is useful for logos, custom letters, icons and badges.

11 · SVG export

The generated SVG is the portable output. Copy it into another project or download it as .svg. No renderer URL or separate service is required.

GIF FPS

Media Converter: Need to convert a video, WebM, SVG, or GIF? Open the browser-based Media Converter to convert between GIF, WebM, and SVG without uploading your files to a server.

Resource note: lower FPS, smaller canvas dimensions, shorter animation duration and fewer visual effects generally mean less browser RAM use and smaller raster/GIF exports. SVG size is affected mainly by scene complexity, paths, filters and embedded assets—not FPS alone.

How to use the SVG

Save the generated code as vibe.svg, or use the downloaded file. The Guides section explains how to place it in GitHub Pages, a web page, or an application.
